Interesting story. Quick read.

This books showcases brightly colored illustrations of animals driving different vehicles and the text rhymes in a fun way. With each new 'sound' of the vehicle on the next page, the characters hope that it is the ice cream truck. I had fun prompting the adults in story time to make the sound of the next vehicle, and whistling the final ice cream truck tune when it FINALLY arrived, was satisfying.

Funny book

The more I read this book, the more I wanted to get to know the main character better. Everyone in my book club enjoyed it.
